Batt (or Blanket) insulation is the most traditional insulation. It is packaged in rolls and has specific R values (resistance to heat). It is designed to be installed into the wall stud by cutting and fitting into specific widths. There is often a facing attached to the Batt (Kraft paper) which provides a vapor barrier. The best thermal performance is dependent on the quality of the installation. a plus, inc. takes pride in doing the job right to get you the highest building performance from the product.
